This replaces the SpotPass and StreetPass system, as it's omitted in Nintendo Switch. Additionally, players can trade Miis between other players to their islands. They can also send their travelers to other islands via an invitation from another player. Players can purchase their export item (which is expensive) so that it's available at their own. Multiplayer: Players from all around the world can visit other islands and interact with their Miis.Multiple save slots: Up to 5 different islands can be saved on the system, rather than one active island at a time.They will need to base this Mii of by the player or else, the game cannot function properly. Each island is complete with its own set of values and exclusive events. Unlike the previous game, the player can choose from multiple designs for their island to suit their needs.
